The DNR has a listing of all the licensed minnow dealers (bait Shops) as well as wholesale minnow dealers that sell to the bait shops.

It's a PDF file

There's a bait shop in at the gas station at Croton Dam. Don't remember the name... I'll see what I can come up with though. They sell minnows, wigglers, worms, crawlers, etc... have some tackle too.... rapalas, spinners, etc... Not bad really for a convenience store. Good pizza too... and they have a public dock so you can access it from the water! Cool!!

Also, The Narrows Marina in Glen Arbor/Glen Lake is pretty much worthless unless all you need is a hook, sinker, and bobber. The Sportsman in Glen Arbor is only 1.5 miles down the road, go there instead!!!

Is BC Nymph still operating? They were in Lansing and now I think they've moved to Holt. I knew John when he started up that little shop, learned to tie flies there. Unfortunately had to move out of the area. He and Tony were two of the craziest carp fly fishermen ever! LOL Tony taught me how to tie up a crawfish fly for carp in the dawg days of summer.

Yahoo lists them at:
2605 Kate Street
Holt, MI 48842
