I am hoping to take my 7 year old down the au sable below mio and was wondering if anyone had any tips on sizes and colors of panther martins or mepps spinners that I should get him to use. I mainly fly fish in that section but want something to keep his interest.

Also, how should I position the boat for him. I have a drift boat. Should he be throwing slightly upstream and retrieving back to the boat?

Don't want anyone's secrets just some tips to get my son into a few fish. Like I said I haven't spinner fished much and I want this to be as fun as possible for him. He has a good attention span and can cast well, just hope to reward him for his efforts with a few fish.

Thanks for any help. PM's are fine if that works better for people.

Scaled to 75% the size of standard
The Finisher Blind's Flagging Sock has been replaced by two zippered Flagging Ports making for ergonomically friendly use of your goose flag.
In addition, the Finishers have two (2) rear frame height adjustments to go with the front frames three (3) height adjustments making for a total of six (6) profile settings.
We have changed the camouflage portion of the Finisher Blind's cover to 900D polyester with double polyurethane coating instead of PVC backing, and the total weight of the blind is now under 18 lbs. but every bit as water-resistant as before with the added feature of breath ability.
Constructed from all aluminum with steel reinforced joints, the Finisher features custom molded high-density nylon hinges for lightweight durability.
An indestructible PVC-backed 1800D polyester floor is the foundation for a comfortable hunt.
and the full-length double-padded seat and HeadRest make the Finisher an all-day hunting pleasure.
The Finisher still incorporates its tapered lids with camo vinyl-coated mesh FaceFlaps, the double fold design, zippered BootBag and exclusive ball-in-joint hinges for the flattest and fastest folding blind in the world.
These standard features make Fred Zink's Finisher Blind the most effective yet economically priced ground blind on the market. - See More Here: http://www.michigan-sportsman.com/cl...?product=23216

I have poked around on the internet and there doesn't seem to be too much available out there other than wood and wood laminate.

I am looking for a stock for my Browning A-bolt in long action, 300winmag. Currently, it has a synthetic stock on it. I don't want wood or wood laminate, even though it looks gorgeous, because I use this rifle and it will get knicked and banged up once in a while.

What I do want is either a nice synthetic thumbhole stock (similar to the eclipse rifles) or even better, a nice tactical stock with pistol grip or thumbhole and adjustable cheek piece.

Anything out there? I don't want anything that is outrageously expensive.
